BTIC collaboration with SEAMEO BIOTROP provides complete training facilities including:
Classroom
Classrooms are located at the BTIC and MIT building. The rooms for lectures and practical are air-conditioned with OHP, In Focus, LCD, multimedia, whiteboard facilities.
The classroom is easily convertible into a workshop room for 40 seats.
Computer Laboratory
- 30 workstations based on Pentium IV 1.8GHz / 512 MB
- Digitizer (Drawing Board III), Plotter, Printer
- LAN & Internet : Internet 24 hour (512 Kbps via leased line)
- Software ; GIS and Remote Sensing, Software (ESRI and ER Mapper Product)
- Digital Data, Image Processing and Map

Dormitories/Guest House
The dormitories are all air-conditioned with private bath. They are provided with hot water as well as TV sets connected to CNN. Telephone lines are available with the BIOTROP compound.
BIOTROP Library
The library is under the Information Resource Unit, which also responsible for publication of the scientific journal, handbook for many applications.
Conference and Seminar Room
For conference/seminar purposes, there are air conditioner rooms with capacities from 20 to 40 persons. The auditorium is easily convertible into a conference room for 200 seats.
